The Instrument
This bass, the original of which belonged to the great bass player Bottesini, displays the typical work of Carl Antonio Testore. Fun to play, this model’s sound is best suited to solo and chamber music.

About Testore
Carl Antonio Testore was the eldest son and apprentice of Carlo Giuseppe Testore. He outstripped his father in terms of quantity, producing numerous modified copies of Stradivari, Amati and Guarneri instruments.
